The theme set in the thematic-visual content (project) titled The Awakening is placed in the time of the 1950s and it deals with dreams and the treatment of symbolism of dreams which, in a certain way, meet and overlap with the reality.

Common places and symbols in the dream are only the starting point for this dramaturgic and visual superstructure.

For composing this mosaic, visual experience and a part of the method of the surrealistic movement, juxtaposition, were used.

The aesthetics of this project has a universal connotation, i.e. it succumbs to the influences of both Eastern and Western cultures, while the dream symbolism applied to the mentioned contents has a connotation of personal visual and ethical treatment of this artistic whole.
