In these small “encounters” with the Preparations for Paradise, yet in truth preparations for vanishing, or for meeting death as an obsessive part of our existence through carefully crafted, almost theatrical scenes, garments, and above all the questioning of one’s inner self, fears, and aspirations, the artist’s work becomes a “dialogue” with death, but also a hope that the everyday, the banal, the earthly, may be transformed into something delicate, poetic, contemplative - when we embark on the journey “beyond the rainbow.”
